Need ability to manually move tab where I want planned
Option to override the preset sorting order.
Under a bit of discussion, though I may have it worked out.

add collapse/expand support for groups
Allow double clicking on a tab in a tab group (or some other interaction) to collapse all the tabs in that group under the clicked tab. There'd be an indication of the collapsed state.
Double clicking a collapsed tab would re-expand the group.
(This is a feature executed *very* well by the Tab Kit extension. I find it useful so it's a suggestion here.)

Optional Sorting and Grouping
Could you make both sorting and grouping optional and individualized for specific websites? Invoked from a right-click. Maybe put a menu entry on right-clicking so that right-clicking on a particular webpage groups all pages from that website together but leaves pages from other websites alone.
This will be incorporated with manual tab movement.

Camifox
I suggest you to improve compatibility with camifox theme that looks awesome with ColorfulTabs enabled.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7527There isn't displayed any seperator width.
Would like to see this 'cause firefox' standard theme is ugly.If that's all that's wrong this aught to be a piece of cake.

add shortcuts for sort methods
Tab bar context menu commands for quickly changing the sorting method.
These same commands could also do quick one-time sorts in the situation that you prefer to leave automatic sorting disabled.
These commands would have associated and customizable keyboard hotkeys.
A little icon near the tab bar or some other such GUI element could work also. Give me your input! ;) Let me know what you like the thought of.

improve subdomain support (i.e. 'xyz' of 'xyz.google.com') planned
Perhaps supply an option for whether tabs should be sorted/grouped based on the entire domain: 'xyz.google.com', or just the root domain: 'google.com'
Or we could take it a little farther and be site specific or something. I don't know. That's why I need your help. ;)
(Naturally I am very much inclined to simple solutions. :)

New Tab (Ctrl+T) bug w/ sorting in default/non-reverse order
With the following settings I have experienced an issue when opening a new tab (i.e., with Ctrl+T).
[X] Enable (ticked/checked)
Group tabs by: "Hostname (G)"
Separator width: "0"
Sort tabs by: "hostname"
[_] Reverse direction (unticked/unchecked)When the new tab is opened, both the previously selected tab and the new blank tab appear selected and active; however, the previously selected tab takes precedence in that when entering a (presumably different) URL in the address bar that will replace what was on the previously selected tab instead of opening it on the new (blank) tab.
The only way for me to workaround this is to Check/Tick the Reverse direction option under Tab Sorting, or manually click to a non-selected tab, then click on the new (blank) tab, before entering in the new URL to navigate to.
I can't seem to reproduce this. Could be a compatibility problem with another extension. If you could identity what one I'd be happy to look into it and see if I can provide a fix. ;)
(Tip: the MR Tech Toolkit extension might make this a lot easier with its 'Disable/Enable All')

User defined Group and Sort option
Could you allow the user to create their own group? eg. 'Olympics', 'Georgian War', 'Economy', 'Funny News', etc. This could be implemented with a right-click entry: "Customize new group" and another entry to add any page you want into this newly customized group. This will let the user manually group the selected pages into whichever group he/she wants. Hope that's not too complicated. Don't want to make the extension too bloated. :-)
This will probably be in there somewhere with the manual tab movement / optional grouping/sorting etc. :)

Add sorting of windows in the Window menu
I keep a lot of windows open. Would love to have a way to sort the window names in the Window menu.
That would indeed be nice to have, a little bit of a different area I'm not ready to focus in though.

Have you tried Tab Kit? Still find Group/Sort tabs useful?
Honestly this extension was created prior to the knowledge of the existence of another extension which groups, sorts, collapses & expands, all very well.
It's a little discouraging to continue work on this extension. I'd be interested in your input as to what need this extension could still fulfill.
Is it more compatible and you value that? Maybe its simplicity could have it very multilingual?
Or we could just engage in vicious capitalistic (as if) competition and steal each others open source ideas! They were both started the same month, after all. Thoughts? ;) I just want the user to win, I'm not attached. ;)
